OUR IDEA
The Idea
It all started with a fixed planned university project. After learning one year about chip design, VHDL and FPGAs, a few students wanted to work with a FPGA during this project. They went to the professor and talked with him. He came up with the idea of the SPI signal generator and pointed out the usefulness of this product. It did not take long and the project was born.
After this the idea was developed further. A vision was created: to build the DPG – Digital Protocol Generator, which will start with SPI. But it should not stay like this. One day it should be able to generate a lot of different signals, like CAN, I2C, PWM, UART, etc. and to be a useful tool for pre-testing hardware components.
